Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 2026-05-06.

Standard we target

This site is built to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We hold the marketing pages and the book sample pages to the same standard.

What that means in practice

  • Keyboard-navigable. Every interactive element on this site can be reached and activated with a keyboard alone. The "Skip to content" link is the first focusable item on each page.
  • Visible focus indicators. Interactive elements show a visible focus state when reached by keyboard.
  • Sufficient color contrast. Body text and UI elements meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios.
  • Semantic HTML. The site uses landmark elements (header, main, nav, footer), headings in document order, and lists for lists.
  • Image alt text. Book covers and the author photo carry descriptive alt text. Decorative images use empty alt or are marked aria-hidden.
  • Resizable text. Browser zoom up to 200% does not break layout or hide content.

Known limitations

The book covers and author photo are bitmap images; the alt text describes them but the visual experience is the image itself. If a screen-reader user wants the cover described in more detail than the alt text provides, please reach out via the contact path below and we will share a longer description.

Reporting a barrier

If you ran into something on this site that did not work for you, please tell us. Reach the author via the LinkedIn profile linked in the site footer with:

  • The page URL
  • What you were trying to do
  • What happened (or did not happen)
  • The browser and assistive technology you were using, if you know

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five business days and to provide a substantive response or remediation timeline within ten.

The books themselves

The Kindle and print editions of the books in The Advantage Series follow the accessibility features built into the Amazon Kindle platform (font sizing, screen-reader support via TTS where available, high-contrast modes). Specific formatting accommodations for the print edition are handled through the publisher and KDP. For accessibility questions about the book content itself rather than this site, please reach out as above.
